We got back out on Big Allison this morning. We tried several brush piles for crappies but only caught 8 crappies off of 2 piles. All were caught before 9 & all on minnows. I could not get any hits on jigs. Also, we caught about 12 perch for bait after making a couple of stops. Marked a lot of fish but had very few bites. Drifted cut bait for cats for a while but no hits.
Water is warming back up.
That "warming back up" has messed the fish up! We went sat , fished about 6 hours for cats and only caught 4 small ones, the water had came up about 6 * in the last week. I think I'l wait til next week some time before I go back, hopefully it will cool back down by then. Thanks for the report.
Hate that for ya. But at least you got out and tried them.
