KY Lake 9-24 1st crank trip

I got to take a Dad and son this morning for Dad's 1st crank trip and the son's 1st crappie trip ever.

We sat down in a cove and immediately started catching fish. We stayed 5 hours in the same cove, never left, and my track on the 1199HD looks like a NASCAR speedway with a spin-out or 3.

PICO cranks were by far responsible for 90% of the catch. We ran water from 15-25 feet with zero current and very few baitballs. Fish scattered all over. Attachment 275284Attachment 275286Attachment 275287Attachment 275289Attachment 275290

I failed to mention we had 29 keepers, lost a bunch, and left fish biting.
