Still been bass fishing quite a bit and catching a lot of fish but not much size. I fished the 3 to 6 mm and got most of my fish throwing a buzzbait anywhere from main lake points to the very back of coves. The back of some coves already have a lot shad. I didn't throw a spinner bait to much but I was surprised twice when I landed a walleye...nice ones too. I've been messing around with shooting docks for bass. Tried the new Gene Larew pinhead jig designed for shooting and wasn't impressed. They work but once you hit a dock the collar slides down the shank and they are useless. I found the best way is a weighted worm hook. I really like the Arkie Stick Bait Hook at Wal-Mart. The weight is at the top of the hook so it makes it really easy to shoot. I was getting a Christie Critter as far back in the dock as I wanted, and getting under very low clearance. I use a 7 foot medium action Carbon Lite Rod, Pflueger President XT reel, and 30 pound Power Pro. When I came home my new tackle bag, or I guess you can call it a suitcase, was waiting for me....pretty excited.Attachment 274536Attachment 274534
