Bathymetric Maps
This summer we began a pilot study collecting bathymetric map data for AGFC lakes in Arkansas. The end goal is to provide anglers (you) with paper maps or digital copies that can be uploaded to various brands of sonars. Here are a couple of examples of maps that we collected data on in D-10. Lakes Cargile and Barnett. It took 7 hours of scanning on Cargile and 14 hours on Barnett. It gets a little boring after a while to say the least. Our 1,000+ acre lakes are going to be a real pain!

I have heard that one of the Lowrance cards has Brewer on it. We are focusing on lakes that don't have available maps. Overcup is definitely on our list. It will take several days to scan.

I thought there had been a need for this years ago and at one time thought about doing this on all state lakes and selling maps but I never ran with it .
