Mark Twain - United Way Weekend Outing

Well, Dad left me up here hanging in Wisconsin (prepping for early goose season up here) while he fished all weekend.......Poor me, I know.

True story, he donated a weekend crankbaiting trip to a United Way auction and a couple of guys from Quincy ended up with the winning bid. Long story short, pops put them on fish....... two days, two limits of good Twain crappie. The man has flat wore them out ALL summer.

Kitty kats were on fire as well........ landed 8 of these but, no walleye this time.

He also mentioned some guy in a pontoon yelled at him (you know who you are Crappie Curt)!!!!! He thought that was pretty cool.

Wouldn't do you any good...... he's fished that "hot" stretch 3 different times since we hammered them there a few weeks ago and has literally caught 3 fish.

No need to spew fake news........there's plenty of that garbage out there already. As for Dad, I may be biased but, he's certainly a "1%'r" on Twain, no doubt. He's not afraid to think outside the box and is generally rewarded. Taught me the same thing on that lake and others.

I keep telling him, "Just wait till you retire and get to fish the lake 4-5 times a week!"
