Went back to Blood River today!

I just thought I'd let yall know I went back to Blood River today, I got there about 7am and fished until 3:30 pm. We caught 38 nice crappie and we even through back all the 10 inchers.Wife said we didnt need to keep those.....lol, I guess she was right. Water temperature was around 53 degrees. We were catching them shallow.We caught most of them on red and white today.It was a great day to fish too.The water temperature is warming up fast. We had a great time. Thanks for the report! We are leaving for Ky lake in the morning for three days of crappie fishing. We will also be fishing Blood River and will report back Wednesday night or Thursday!

How shallow was you fishing?

I was fishing 2-3 ft. deep with a bobber. I went back today also, we caught 26 crappie in Blood River and 24 in Panther Bay. Water temp was 55-56 degrees.It was another great day to fish.

If I may ask, what were you using? Minnows? Jigs? Color? Thanks.

We were using jigs, red upper and white skirt, also using Yellow upper with chartreuse skirt with glitter.
