Not much to report except all the places we had been catching fish were just about empty of fish & bait. Tried the same places we caught fish wed but only caught 9 cats & about 12 small perch. Only had 2 small blues, rest were channel cats. Wind was very low so we moved around with the trolling motor.
That's the way its been for our last several trips. Hit or miss
Looking forward to crappie fishing when the weather cools off.

What's the surface water temp early in the morning now Charles?
Mr. Charles, as least you are getting to go. Work sucks in this heat and humidity. Much rather chase some fish! Just have them herded up for us when we do get to go. :Rofl Thanks for the :fish report!
I am not Charles but the temp early on 8/11 in Crowders Creek and 7 Oaks was 83 to 84. That was early in the morning.Quote:
