There is a lightening strike. Watch the bolt strike and skip over the ground into the water on the far side of river. It happens at -.50 seconds

I can see the flash from the hill side to the river, but not a flash striking the ground.

You can tell it isn't DET cord - if it were, the detonation would be much brighter, louder, and dust along the ground would fill the air. DET cord is no joke. I had some demolition training in the USAF, but by no means an expert.

You can also see smoke/dust from where the bolt initially strikes the ground

That smokey dust was caused by the ignition of the DET cord. Saw several uses of DET cord by EOD in the Air Force. Where is the flash of lightning and why no boom? Have never witnessed a lightning strike without a tremendous boom and intense flash.

My guess is the sound was edited out or the camera wasn't sound capable. I set off a few shots myself.

Maybe. But I doubt it. This is 2017. A video camera without sound. Come on. Even our phones have sound. BUT! Where is the flash from the lightning bolt? First clue as to it's credibility was that it came frome FaceBook.
