Can you use down imaging with this transducer

I don't have an XI5 YET .... but I would think it would have to be HDI for that to work.

I noticed that the Salt Water version does not have an integrated Sonar. I wonder why that is....

I have a freshwater Xi5 and really like it. My only problem is that I have a Humminbird Fish Finder, and can't integrate it with my fish finder. I may at some point purchase a Lowrance Elite 9 for this purpose, or move the Xi5 to my smaller jon boat and buy an Ulterra for the automatic stow and deploy functions.

Which hummindird do you have? There is a HB 7 pin adapter for the Xi5. The built in trans is 83/200.
