Red River

Hung out on the Red River yesterday with my ol fishing buddy Johnny Williams 1 pole 1 jig top fishing! Fish still holding on tops 10-14ft fishing 6-8ft down! Bonehead Stump Bug (paradise)...black/orange hair jig...Bistineau jig...Grand Bayou Sunrise where the colors of the day!

Wow. those are some nice fish. I might go to the Red tomorrow morning below Alexandria. Been wanting to go there, but I've been catching ok at Dubuisson. Seeing these pictures got me fired up for the Red. Might take my catfishing rod too in case the crappie don't cooperate.
