I got out early this morning trying to beat the heat and catch a few. 84° water temp. surprised me this morning as it has been hotter. Weather temp. between 70°- 85° this morning and heating up to 95° with a heat index of 105° this evening. I fished from 5:30 am to 9:00 am before it got hot. Fish where in 13' water about 8' deep close and around brush tops. Well I didn't load the boat but I did get enough fillets for supper and a few for later. Everyone be careful as the summer gets hotter. The weather man just said the heat index could get to about 110° tomorrow.
