Crank Fest Swap And Shop!!
I have tried hard for Crankfest just to be about fellowship, learning and catching summer time crappie. Part of that is not fooling with door prizes or being a "sponsor riddled" event and so far we have done well with that. There will be a little stuff there next weekend but very little and certainly not the main focus of the weekend.
With that said, we would like to try something different. There will be crappie fisherman there in every stage of their experience, from still wet behind the ears to seasoned veterans (who I bet will learn some things too). All of us have stuff sitting around that we don't use, stuff we upgraded and just held on to the old stuff. As a beginner or heck as an ole dawg you may have something that someone else would like to have and try.
We will have a couple tables set up where you can put your stuff on display to sell or trade. It will be completely up to you to tend to your stuff and would think everything would be sold or traded "as is" but that is between the buy and seller, not me.
If you want to participate that's fine and if not that's fine, it will just be available.
We will try it and if it catches on we can continue to do it, if not we can flush it and not do it next year. My main concern next week and into the weekend is fun and fellowship while catching crappie and maybe teaching a fellow fisherman how to do the same. None of us do the same exact thing, we differ in many ways most of the time.
