Little Prairie?
Took my little boat to Little Prairie, just outside Rolla, to try my new trolling motor set up. Decided to call "Ripnlips" now that he is retired, to come out and enjoy the heat. We did a little fishing and Richard proved there are still some crappie out here. Now we have been fishing this lake since the 80's and it was the first time we seen a "Paul Fish". **** Large Gar***** circled us and headed out toward the middle of the lake. But the captain of the little boat put Richard on the fish. Picture is here to prove it. Fun was had and the trolling motor set up works like a charm. We just drifted and put on some minnows. Heated up quick and took out around 10.

Hard to catch them out there. I've caught a few over the summer, but I'm mostly looking for the redear! Good job captain
