Spotted catin
Well I brought my uncle on his first spotted cat rod n reel trip Saturday morn in the Mississippi River , although he's a great hunter and avid fisherman he had never fished flatheads! So we started off the morning by me having 2 come off before getting to the boat and he had 2 in the ice chest lol then the rain poured down on us for 45 minuets he had my slicker suit and I had well a cheap leaking umbrella lol at least the lightening was not around us! We ended the day with 8 spotted cat 2 biggest 6 lb and 17.5 lb he had the smaller of the 2 but if y'all could have seen his eyes holding on to that pole while battling that flathead and the excitement following when I tore into that 17.5 lb ! The two blue cat were both 8 lb ers , I wish I had more pics but I will next time cause he is already asking when we going next lolAttachment 269472

Used buffalo carp from industrial supply in Ville Platte. But on another note lol we separated the fish cause we thought we had 10 total but after cleaning we ended up with 10 spotted and 2 blue lol! Lotta times the story grows from one mouth to another and so does weight but not this time [emoji24]
