Thanks Jerry, but.....
As far as I'm concerned there's a couple people that had a part in that day.
First of all you.....I would have thrown that fish back if you hadn't said "I think that might be a Master Angler and I think it has to be 14""
Then kudos to Rich for giving info on the process needed to document it.
I'd have to say this was a "Team Event".
Nothing wrong with working as a team. I'd have to say most of the credit goes to the young man that did the hard part, enticing that nice fish to bite and then bringing it to the boat with no help from us. Way to go Aiden, I hope this is the first of many master angler fish for you.
You welcome for the publicity. lol Any of you fellows post something you think is home page worthy, pm me. I am a sucker for papa's and grandkids and dad's and daughters(abbie's). Also good saltwater trips. haha
Thanks Danny.....Aiden thinks hes a pretty big deal now. He was fishing this weekend with his dad, and every gill he caught (3) he told my son to measure them for another Master Angler cause hes on a roll.......
I think he learned to talk that trash from Jerry........
Steve, we'll get him out on Jordan this summer. Real good chance to get his master angler bluegill out there.
"He's on a roll"! That is funny.
I was on a role once. Caught close to a half dozen master angler fish of different species in the span of 3 weeks. I knew the sizes, measured them and threw them overboard. Then I though "Hey, why don't you send in for them". Famous last words. Went on a two year stretch without catching one!
