Good Morning,
As we approach the Holiday weekend, I would like to encourage safe travels for everyone.
For everyone going North, South, East or West. Even those on "Stay-Cations"
Please be safe, there is a Crappie out there waiting for you & your return.
Most everyone knows the drill, tire Pressure's, extra trailer wheel bearings, grease, jack, tools, Engel Cooler. You know the important stuff :)
For those I do not see, or hear from, have a great Holiday.

As much I love to fish, I hate the congestion of people more. Specifically, the boat launches during the next few days. In order to attempt to keep my sanity, I think I'll stay at home!
Judy and I are heading up to Burt Lake Saturday, leaving at 6:00 a.m. in hopes of beating traffic. Not hauling any camper or boat......just the Engel Cooler!
My niece has a trailer at the campground there so we may stay with her Saturday night.
i'd really like to take the boat out but I'm with Rich as far as staying away from the madness.
I'm going as far as Six Lakes. I don't worry about traffic, I usually take back roads. Hope everyone has a fantastic holiday weekend and safe travels.
Already over at Brighton SRA at Bishop Lake. No boat either. Miller family 4th on Lake Chemung at sisters.
Pray that everyone has an enjoyable holiday and remember it's our independence we are celebrating!

In years past, we would be camping in Alpena, and I would be on Thunder Bay.:biggrin Our Cali. kids will be here on the 4th, so getting ready for that. Be safe and fly the flag!!!
