Went to Dubisson this morning before all the rain. Bite was slow. Fish were all bunched up on the North bank. Water temp, 81-85 deg. Trolling speed, 1.2mph. Fishing 6-8' deep. Baits; Bandit 300's, Cadron Creek Crankbaits and ScottV Crankbaits. Top colors; Chart/sparkle and Chart/blue back.

Nice catch, got 3 1/2" after midnight so I slept in had planned a quick trip also. How do you like those Cadron Creek CBS, just seen his post and tried to order a few but no answer back on PM.
You need to give him some time. It took about four weeks for him to get them to me. He had just started a new job. I like them and they fish well. If you're pressed for time, try ScottV on the Mississippi board. Both fella's use the same blanks; C-55. The water was a little more stained in certain areas, but still fishable. Tangles... are you kidding? Lol. Just part of crankbait fishing. That's where the clips with a swivel come in handy. Un-clip your baits and its a lot easier. You still need to check your line for kinks and nicks. Had to re-tie a couple of times today. Biggest problem is foul-hooked fish and catfish. They usually come up spinning in circles. :fishQuote:
