I'll be anxious to hear how you do on Overcup. I use to spend a lot of time on that lake when I lived about 8 miles from Lakeview Landing.
Not living there now, I can't tell you for sure but if you go to Lakeview, there is a cove just east of the dock. There are old fence lines and stumps scattered around that cove and it use to hold a lot of nice Crappie and were very active about this time of year. Once you find them, you can stay there or move around depending on traffic.
If you see a guy fishing with a fly rod with a spinning reel on it, ask him if his name is Eddie and tell him I said "hey"....
I will pass the message on. I have never been to Overcup but I have just this year found a new addiction "Crappie" fishing. I have had some good times already.
