LOZ at Night 06/11/2017
For the past year I have gotten into bass fishing but I have never dedicated a full night to green fish. I started off in Jobson Hollow and Birdsong Hollow cove without any success on a crankbait, jig, and buzzbait. Switched gears and hit the main lake points running a double colorado spinnerbait shallow, and got a 5 pounder on my first cast. Stayed with the same pattern and caught a bunch of small fish including some keeper size spots. Very nice night, bright moon, light wind, lots of fish, will do it again real soon. I have read a single colorado blade really works well at night so I'll be stocking up on those.

Ever since the lake was dirty and a lot of generation, I have been doing really well catching bass on main lake points... anywhere from 12 to 25 feet deep.
I mean even mid day fishing, catching 15 to 20 bass a day with more than half being over 15". I'm sure they were stacked there for the reason there was so much current bringing the food to them. And I was only hitting two points.
Now last weekend was a different story...
Generation went to normal, and the full moon.
I only caught a few smaller bass during the day off those exact same points.
Gonna try the Night bite this weekend.
My go to bait is a red shad Texas rigged worm worked slowly.
