So one side of my side imaging seems to have a problem. I'm not sure what it causing it.
Here are some screen shots:

Anyone have any thoughts about what could be wrong?
These hard echo lines are usually caused by the SI beam reflecting off the opposite side of a jackplate ...
Is the xducer mounted to a jackplate ...??

it isn't mounted to the jackplate itself, but that could be the issue. as the transducer is mounted to the right of the jackplate but I thought it was low enough that it would be missing it.
The SI beam reaches all the way to the water's surface on both sides ...

The most common fix for a jackplate install is to add a hole shot plate on the bottom of the jackplate and mount the SI xducer in the center of the hole shot plate ...
This eliminates any opposing vertical surface that can reflect the SI beam ...
