the Shelbyville hush?
Ok, let's hear your success stories or lack thereof...about our beloved flood reservoir. My last two trips have not gone well...very small fish. Is it just me (probably) or has the struggle been real for you too? There's been lots of boats so someone is catching em'? Fess up. :popcorn

I fish it pretty regularly. Mostly catch my big fish in early May during the spawn which doesn't take much talent. Once the water cools in the fall I catch tons of fish but most of the time they're small. Two years ago the big ones were biting for me in the fall.

Idk I've been fishing everywhere else. If it's not any better this year I may pull out. Long drive to spend a weekend not catching anything but shorts. I have better fishing that's closer But I do enjoy hanging out at the campground

There is just so much more water for them to be in right now. Give it a couple more weeks and then things should be better

I made my first foray on Thursday but worked on my boat till 630 PM before putting in at Wolf. Caught a big Carp within 30 minutes and then one over and that was it till early morning - I was trying my luck with jugging for catfish but only got one and that was on stink bait! Not one nibble on the leaches...
Caught FIVE total Crappie before giving up at 11 AM Friday...
