Had a decent day on Caney today. Caught all my fish in 20-22FOW fishing 16-18ft deep with shinners. Wind was choppy but managed to keep 12 perch. Threw back about 5 smaller ones. Have to thank scrapiron for pointing me in the right direction.

Nice report. Glad you got into a few. I've fished Caney a couple of times in the spring with some success but found it a little intimidating when you have limited time to figure it out. Maybe next trip down in November I'll give it another try, looks like it has some good fish in it.
