Great fishing in tn with downriggers and planet boards

Came out to dale hollow lake to learn down riggers and planet boards. Ran two sets of down riggers and three sets of planet boards simultaneously. The guide taught me how to run all. Lost a lot of fish trolling like this but ended with 4 nice walleyed with the largest at 27" and Ana caught a trophy small mouth that was 22", which was released, as the guide said didn't catch numbers but a lot of quality. We were targeting walleye. Definitely will come back as it's only 7 hour drive from the house. Most importantly I now have knowledge on new techniques for my arsenal.

Congrats. Great report and those pics are super. Another tool in the toolbox.

Looks like a great fishing trip. Always good to go with a guide who will show you the how to part.
