rest rooms

Just a comment about rest rooms. First of all There are some nice ramps on Jordan with nice restrooms. I see lots of people enjoying the water (men, ladies, and children). The restrooms on Harris are really not convenient and there is nowhere to dock the boat to use them. It seems to me with a 17% cost increase that the power co just got approved they might have some money to build a restroom at the two ramp areas so people could use them. This might even help keep the woods around the ramps a little cleaner.:bash

Agreed. While they are at it they could put a trash can or two out. There isn't even one of those at the Cross Point ramp, at least not one I have seen.

You are right. I was there Sunday and no trash can. Trash on ground everywhere. I do not mind paying a reasonable fee to use a ramp if that is what it takes but the power co has the money.

Agree with all that has been said. I don't mind an entrance fee either if they would build us a bathroom.

Not sure about an entrance fee. It would never get used for its intended purpose. Most fees are sold with good intentions but never end that way. Look at the saltwater license fee. In theory, it's a great thing but the politicians use it as a slush fund for other things.

I know what you are saying but I fish at the coast a lot and I can see great improvements on the facilities where I go. The biggest rip-off from the salt water license is on the piers.

I am asking a question because I do not know the answer. Is Duke responsible for the ramps or NCWR?

I think it should be a flat standing rule there is a trash can at ALL boat ramps.
