Juggling act!

I'm gonna attempt the impossible juggling act tomorrow,I'm gonna gill fish,and cat fish at the same time from a kayak.Ive caught both accidentally before,but cats are a pretty hard on my ultralights and thin wire hooks,perhaps if I have a cat rod and bait out,I can sneak some gills into the yak also.

I planned to bass and gill fish out of mine over the weekend and decided to leave my bass rod behind as I wanted to gill rods and thought the 3rd rod would be too much. Of course bass were busting the surface all around me even through the heat of the day. Gill bite was a little slow, so i blew that one.

carry a handful of 1/32 road runners with 1 inch sliders --------------catch both, on same rod . jmo.

I agree,my best day of crappie fishing was also one of my better days of cat catching,seemed the channel cats couldn't resist a beetlespin with a paddle tail any more that the crappie could.
