this is the biggest crappie i have happened on this season.http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...%20crappie.jpg didnt measure it but it was in the 13-14" range. caught while bassin a small lake i call "the swamp". was holding on the outside of a weed bed in 10fow. i never felt the jig hit bottom and it was just on there when i pulled. lol t he big bass of the day was only a 4 1/2 pounderhttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...amp%20bass.jpg
been chasing bass and gills this year for some reason. i guess i get bored with the same fish all the time? maybe the flooded mud we've been handed this year had some to do with it? anyhow thats it for crappie reports from here in the north.

That pressure keeps mouths quiet, and I completely get that. Got ran off the lake Saturday by 10:30. I wish I had a water cannon to pick off anybody within 25 yards of me on plane.

I hate weekends and my work is going to get busy in a couple more weeks or so, but for now can still fish thru the week as long as I drag the phone and iPad with me. Buy a water canon and let me know when you plan on using it and we will make a video. :biggrin
