Lake Wylie 40th Wedding Annivesary. 6/3/2017
Sunday the 4th is my bride and me our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Could not come up with a better way to spend it then catching Crappie with her. So 6:30 on water. Now it has been a long time since I used a slip float and minnows so I gave it a try. Went to first Condo and we were catching Crappie. Then Betty caught a bass so when I took it off the hook I said do you want to kiss it. Well I knew the answer to that one. So I kiss the bass and released him. Then she said she wont be kissing me today. :biggrin Went to a second brush pile and got into them. Landed 17 nice Crappie couple 13 inches.
Had 36 minnows, minnows gone, 10:00 and big boats coming out I said time to go in.
Not a big mess but the two brush piles in 25 feet of water and we were fishing down about 12 feet. It was a different fun but I might work this pattern this Summer.
