Not crappie but.......

My daughter had a blast.
My daughter wanted to go catfishing so we went below Truman Dam just past the dead water channel. We were catching several small blue cat on cut shad and I was in the front of the boat doing something she started yelling that she had a big one. Thinking it was the snag she got into a couple times before I didn't take her very serious until I turned around and the fish was dragging her to the back of the boat. Lol
I ran back a set her drag and after about ten minutes of fighting it in the heavy current she got it in, ended up being a 17.5 flathead and she was very excited and shaking after we got it in the boat.
I think she is hooked. : )
