Good day turned bad.
Today Linda and I decided to hit a spot where we caught some bass a week or two back. I was a little windy to fish it correctly but we gave it a try anyway. By the time we pulled out of there we had 16 bass.
We moved to a spot we had never fished before just doing a little scouting. We caught nothing there, in fact I lost there. Lost my phone that is. My daughter had called me and I was sitting there just talking to her when I looked up and saw a large wasp about 3 foot from me heading right at me in attack mode. I pull the phone away from my ear and the wasp hit my hand holding the phone. I retracted my hand so fast that the phone stayed in midair, that is for about 2 seconds and then splash. End of story. No pictures of fish or anything else for a while.

I have lost one to a lake before too. It is hard to start over with all the contacts and pictures lost.

Pictures aren't a problem but all my other info will take some work to get back.

Sorry to hear that Paw-Paw. I hate wasps!

Sorry you lost your phone, them red wasps are mean!

Hate to hear that PPG. I've always been paranoid about losing contact numbers, so every once in a while I'll write them all down (or update an existing list) on a spreadsheet and email them to myself. That way if I can't find a hard copy, I can pull the most recent version up on yahoo mail. It won't be 100%, but better than starting at 0%....
But hey....at least you caught some fish beforehand. :)

Good catch.....sorry about your phone

Well at least you did not do it on purpose. My mom threw hers in the pond years ago! lol At least yall caught enough for a few suppers.

Obviously your daughter owes you a new phone. She shouldn't have called when a wasp was about to attack!
:biggrin
