I don't collect rubber bait but just about everything else found in a tree or on a stump. Just trying to keep my fishing holes cleaned up.
Gotta love finding miscellaneous items

Welcome from Central Florida. I have collected so much that it began to own me instead of the reverse. My wife bought me an Umco possum belly tackle box at a yard sale for $20 that had 44 wood plugs in it. Be careful of the fever, you can find things you never dreamed of.
Welcome from Alabama. I find a lot of neat stuff to fish with at yard sales and thrift markets. Soft plastic baits can be melted and recycled into new soft plastic baits.
Here is how...

Whew! For a minute there I thought this forum was headed downhill quick.
I started buying and collecting fishing lures and stuff when I was a little kid and never really stopped, heck I still have most all of it.I doubt any of its worth anything but its still pretty cool to me.
A lot of the guys on the soft plastic forms are always trying to mach old color you can't get anymore. So it's good to have some of the old baits. I just got my hands on the old electric red worms and I'm trying to mach them. And yes I collect old fishing lures of all kinds.
