Nice, if mine had looked anything near that there would not have been a pile of foam and thread. Am looking for the video showing how it's done, have seen it before but retention is coming harder lately.--shu

After I looked at the picture
I wish I would have made the head smaller..
Here are a couple links...just not videos!
Just cut the foam and use heat to help shape the ends. Also this first like is how I learned to tie as videos were not out there like they are now. Still even with the videos I prefer this kind of instructions!

Enjoyed watching the videos and learned why my bodies are 'clumpy', don't have the dubbing materials and have never tried any yet--a lot to learn. Done two this morning and the bodies look more like squares than nice and smooth. Thanks for the links to the videos, there must be a thousand ways to do an ant.--shu
Shu my ant dose not have dubbing on it all it it is is hook ,thread, foam & hackle

Steve, that looks easy enough that I'm going to have to try one for myself. I got a request from a friend for some gills, and you can't turn down good people. Good video.
Ant's are fairly easy. What was harder was hoppers. I watched ever youtube video I could find on hoppers and borrow ideas from some and came up with my own.
