Grand Bayou 5-15-17
Got to the lake about 6:10 and left the launch just as the sun was coming up. It was a beautiful day for fishing with just a slight breeze. The lake was the calmest I have ever seen it. Water temp was 78 degrees.

Started fishing about 6:30 and quit at 11:50. I had all I wanted to clean, plus I could hear a hamburger calling my name. :biggrin The Lord blesses me every day, but today He went above and beyond. I caught 26 and kept 25 of them; all quality fish except for 2 that measured 10.5 inches. Caught them in 17-18 FOW about 11-12 feet deep. They were caught on my Grey Ghost, my Popsicle, a Tiny sinking Rattle Trap, Blue Thunder/Fire tail, and Electric Chicken. Electric Chicken was the hot color for today, probably accounting for half of my catch. By the way, that is a 20 oz. water battle in the picture below.

By the time I got them cleaned and the ribs cut out, I had 10 lbs. and 6 oz. of boneless filets. Thank You, Heavenly Father for a great day and some fish to boot.
Here is a picture that isn't too unusual, just don't ever remember seeing one like it on crappie.com. Just a little different perspective. LOL. :yikes

When you get that many pounds of fillets off of that amount of fish you know you have some quality. Nice going 👍🏻
