Good times
My dad hasn't been fishing in a long time but I took him for his first spider rigging experience today. We had very breezy winds, overcast and it felt a lot cooler than it was. It was a slow bite to start the day and had to fight with some stripers wrapping everything up. We caught a bunch of shorts but still ended up with 16 keepers. His highlight was landing a slab that measured 14 inches. Needless to say conditions could have been better. Anyhow, I had a blast with the Ol' man. I haven't got to spend time with him like that in a long time. We also had a good crappie dinner tonight! Thanks to the wife for the good cooking!

My dad got to go a while back with me and had a blast. It was a great feeling to see him smile and enjoy being out there. Glad you got to take him.

Good fish. Ima looking at our dock as I peck type here. Dock is still under water. I could wade out to me boat, but I don't need fish that bad yet. Maybe in an hour or two I might change me mind. Maybe not.
