Ft Loudoun 5/12/17

Took a day off work and went fishing with KHP this morning. We got on the water a little after 7am after the rain subsided. The bite was really good early and slowed down more towards noon. We were spider rigging in creeks catching them 10-14ft in 15-25fow. Ended up with 30 keepers but we also caught as many shorts if not more. All in all, it was a good time on the water with a great friend!

Well done! I wish I could make myself spider rig! I have the equipment, but lack the patience!

It was definitely a test of our patience this morning with all the dadgum stripe hitting our baits like torpedos causing a few tangles!

And even more testing when we had lost a couple of good keepers early. Which pushed us fighting for the last two for a good little while.
