OK,
I shorted out my running lights on the trailer by plugging it in while the truck was running, I misaligned the connection and it messed it up.
Brake lights are workning fine but the running lights are not on.
Bulbs are OK,
Anyone know what color wire powers the running lights?
I'm guessing I burned a wire.
PS, truck lights are all good, and I checked all the fuses on the truck just in case.
I can't find a fuse on the trailer, It's a 4 wire system.

It should be the brown wire but the best way to test is with a volt meter and find which pole on the plug has 12 volts when the lights are on

I did the same with my truck a while back and it blew a fuse in the truck. Had brake light but no running lights on the trailer.
Take a look at your owners manualor google the truck for a trailer light fuse, most newer cars and trucks have separate fuses so you don't go dark if the trailer shorts out
Mine wasn't a regular fuse, it was one of the square block looking fuses and was barely cracked
Most all new trucks have a seperate fuse for trailer running lights.
Chevy/ GMC under hood on passenger side
Toyota behind seat drivers side, think Nissan might be same
Think ford may be under hood but have no clue on dodge.
Like Scooperdude said check Manuel or google. Have found Google to be a real help on this stuff.
My 2007 Dodge Ram has a fuse for trailer lights. I had a tire blow out a couple years ago and did some damage to the fender and it cut the wire going to the marker light on the fender. Sometimes the wire going to the light gets exposed and touches the frame of the trailer and blows the fuse in the truck. Hope this helps!

Just did this on my '13 F150. Everything worked but running lights. Fuse under hood was blown. 20 amp that they call a trailer light relay in owners manual even though it's a fuse.
