Lol. Center to first ring is set by what u calibrate to. U can guesstimate the black ring off that.
Just like in SI - the black is the water column = depth of water (measuring from center point of 360 image to start of bottom detail in the 360 image) ...
Like Bama mentions - the Range Rings are adjustable ...

I have a transom mount 360.it's mounted on a 21ft.boat.the 360 is 21ft. (Give or take alittle) from the trolling motor.in the picture,I've circled the trolling motor return that's being pinged.the trolling motor is probably 2ft. in the water.doesn't matter tho.it could be 21ft. down in the water.it would still show on the screen,in the same location. Those are range rings in this picture.they are (software determined ) by the scan range you choose. Ranget offset can be ajusted to what ever you choose ,within your scan range....http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps2oro04ka.jpg
Here is the range offset.I've set to 20ft.any target on the display, within your scan range .can be determined by changing this ,to were it's touching the target....http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...pscd5hwwoi.jpg
Komo, that is a very good looking 360 image. Do you remember about what you had your speed, sensitivity, contrast, set at. Thanks
I was told that if you have your rings visible and turn Contour "ON" the object will be the horizontal distant showed on the rings.
