Chickamauga Lake report -- 04/28/17

A mixed-bag fishing trip. We started around 10:30 and I caught a channel cat on my first cast. We decided to mix in some bass fishing ( shhh - don't tell ) and fished some post spawn areas that are reliable. I caught bass on a Bass Pro Shop medium running crankbait and the fish weren't picky as I caught them on four different colors.

The last half of our trip was crappie fishing where we've been finding them lately and the bite was still good. Deb caught a 13.5 inch crappie that she released. A few others came home with us.

Looks like a success

You're getting a lot of fishing in these days Jeff.
This post reminds me of a little kitty I caught a few weeks ago while crappie fishing.

these are some nice fish all of them

Nothing wrong with a little bass fishing although some would disagree. I will fish for whatever bites but I like to crappie fish. Great pics and good report.
