Not a bad day yesterday. Setup camp fished about two hours. Found fish in about 4' water. One nice 15" the rest were dinks. If you can tolerate the wind blue and silver jig with and without minnow.

I would be jiggin the buck brush up Pine Grove or timber in Saddle Creek, but you better do it by Fri. Nite as they are calling for 2to 4 inches of rain starting fri nite thru Tuesday and Sat and Sun tons of wind and storms. Above Cutright, it will get very muddy if we get what the weatherman is calling for. Good luck as I know of a couple of guys doing good fishing that way catching several nice crappie after sorting thru the dinks.
Thanks for the input will head up that way tomorrow
Was down at monroe couple weekends ago and unfortsuntly only caught a couple keepers that we ended up tossing back. Thinking about driving back down this weekend but not sure, weather man is calling for cold Temps and rain. My father and his buddies were down there last weekend with the monsoons and had no luck. Debating on making the trip alone this weekend and staying at paynetown
Monroe is still coming up and 2.5 ft above summer pool and I am guessing (very good guess) that above cutright, is muddy as all get out. It will keep coming up as we are supposed to get rain from noon on Wed thru Fri and they are calling for 2 to 3 Moore inches of rain and possible frost warnings Sat- Sunday mornings. Good luck as I am hoping to get wet tomorrow if the gusting wind we are having today to 40 plus mph lays down a bit. I will be fishing muddy water tomorrow as every, lake has to be muddy or very very stained with the 4 to 8 inches we got over the weekend depending where you were.

Good luck this weekend. Wish I could give you a little more input. We found fish anywhere from 6"to 8' of water. We did get into a school of better fish up in Crooked Creek.
I can only imagine how muddy it will be above cut right, tons of rain washing down in there. I do like fishing flooded bushes. Couple weeks ago only caught one fish with eggs, didn't seem to see any beds anywhere at all. Assuming the spawn is possibly still little off yet? If ya get out tomorrow good luck to ya!
Deck, thank you! I have honestly never been as far east as crooked creek, I have been back in there a little bit not not that far back. Each time I get there I try to branch out. Little more each time. Did catch a few nice ones around Fairfax couple weeks ago. They were 15' deep in 23' of water. Still not sure 100% that I'll make it down this weekend but hoping to atleast try to
