Deb and I squeezed in a short trip today as she had obligations to take care of. She's missed out on the last couple of trips and wanted to fish for awhile. I didn't have much gas so we didn't go far from the HBSP marina. The overall bite was pretty good again in the high water. Deb made the most of her trip with a nice white crappie just a "smidge" under 14 inches. All fish were released.
Dang dude you've gotta quit letting deb beat you out on size.
LoL just kidding Jeff. Its great you guys get out and fish together.

It's been going on a long time Gene. I caught a 14 inch white crappie but she catches a 15 inch on the same trip this week. It wasn't even close for me today. I try my best. No sand-bagging here. It's brutal for me sometimes - lol ! The only time I feel comfortable catching bigger fish is when I go by myself. I'm not sure Dave. It is what it is I guess ? I need to post more pics of me netting Deb's fish. You should see me with a net. I'm proud of how handy I am with one with all of the practice I get. :tongueQuote:
