You might not need a guide. Just go to the mid section of the lake, pick out a protected pocket on the south shore and look real hard. If you can see this, stop and fan cast the area with a bobber and 1/32 jig head tipped with a baby trout colored Bass Assassin body. You will find them. If you can't see this, then you might need a guide.Attachment 264798
I'd like to hire a guide too, but not willing to pay $350 a day for their services.
That's $43 hr. and I don't make that kind of $$$.
$200 a day just sounds way better to me.
Thanks
You have to keep in mind at $43 you are paying for the boat and equipment . How many gallons of gas did he burn looking for all the spots he is taking you, how much money did he spend learning all the techniques. I wouldn't sell my knowledge so cheap

I contacted him. He's booked those days. Thanks though!

Darrell took us out yesterday evening and we caught a bunch of gills and some crackers. Not a lot of big ones, but still a good trip. He's a great guy and knows his stuff! Thanks for the info. I told him how I heard of him but couldn't tell him who told me, so, if you know him, let him know it's you that got him a client!!
Glad it turned out good for ya! Thanks for letting us know how it went.:ThumbsUp
