Dardanelle

Going to Dardanelle this week. Any one pull cranks there and if so where would a good place be to start?

I troll crankbaits this time of year and on some lakes and do pretty well. However, we've been fishing Dardanelle a little lately and doing fairly well. But the crappie as of late have been shallower in the water column than I can troll crankbaits. I'd jig over brush piles at this time based on my recent results. I know that's not the answer you were looking for, but I thought it might help you catch some fish.

Thanks, may try jigs/minnows instead of the cranks. I had the cranks on my mind, but that was before we had this cooler weather.
