4/21 t hill report up and down day

Set up hunters for Turkey but no gobbling at all, so I went and visited with couple crappie dudes saw they were catching good fish but 10 foot out from shore 5 to 8 ft deep under bobber.

Fished couple usual spots and talked to couple people who were out 1 boat on water. Few keeper fish bite was bad. Didn't start catching till 4 and then I started catching nice ones with almost no one out. Ended up w dozen most 11 to 12, couple on shore then rest 10 fow in brush on tight line.

Pretty country back behind ya ol boy..... makes me miss Missouri (not so much Illinois unless I'm in my duck pit).

Dad just brought me up a mess of morels he picked last week at our place at Twain. Love this time of year. That said, the salmon, walleye, mushroom and crappie are just about to start up here.

our area is just picturesque with great sunsets over lake and sunrises. wonderful place where time and the outside world don't have much influence.
