Went out this morning and was on the water by 0600 and the fish were biting. Team Ricky jigs (Mahi) was the color of choice for me, couldn't buy a bite casting the shore line or pushing in 10 fow like a couple weekends ago. Moved out to 12-17 foot of water and it was on. Hope this helps someone and good luck.
We fished Jordan today also. Kind of the opposite for us. We found the fish in 5-7 fow. (None shallower) Longlining jigs. Caught 152 on the day with 30 keepers. A lot of 9" fish. Most of the females we cleaned still had eggs.

Good lord I thought I was doing good and I only caught between 40 and 50 fish. I still left with a limit but love to get in my school's like that. Congrats Chad and watch out I'm coming for you, haha.
Haha.. i hear ya. That's not the norm by far. Just got into em this time. Sounds like the bigger fish are deeper since you got a limit out of 50 fish. Either way those guys that stayed home today missed out ;)

I was very surprised with the lack of boat activity, I checked the weather at 0400 this morning and seen the rain was pushed back and had to go. Alot of guys missed out like you said.
