Grand Bayou 4-21-17
I got to the lake and started fishing around 8:00. Duckcommando and Nw La Sacalait had let me know the general depth to start in, so I started in 16-18 feet of water fishing about 12 feet deep. I ended up keeping 9 really nice sacs and one big ole chinquapin. Caught them on Electric Chicken, Popsicle, Blue/Gray with red tail, and a couple of my hair jigs. I threw back 4 or 5 that didn't come up to standards.
I got to meet Nw La Sacalait and fish around him yesterday. Very nice young man and a pleasure to fish around.
Sorry that there ain't no pics. I had to leave for the hospital as soon as I got the cleaned. Our choir director and piano player was savagely attacked by a German Shepherd and Wolf cross. Had one surgery on her face last night. Will have another surgery on her leg in a couple of days. She was very lucky. The dog almost got her curated artery.
Thinking about going back to Grand Bayou on Monday. Sort of depends on Mrs. Barbara's next surgery.

Thank you Pastor for sharing.I thank you for your dedication to do a work for God.I also love that every post that i have read said that prayers were being lifted up on her behalf.I thank God for that and he knows what she has need of and is working on it right now.Glad you were able to catch a nice mess of fish too.
