Auction trip with BRM

Thursday Bill called and said Friday was "the day". He was on them and weather looked right. Well, he was right! Had an enjoyable day. (Other than when I managed to miss a couple from not setting the hook quite hard enough. Those 2 pound plus specks have tougher mouths than 10 inches. Finished up with a dandy limit with the biggest 2.95. Bill caught it so I will swear that it had 6 ounces of mud on its head. Of course if I caught it I would have smeared another 4 ounces of mud on before I weighed it. Auction Was good on both ends. They got the money and I had a great time. Only one out was Bill. Also saw that it is inevitable that Bill's phone is gonna take a bath sometime in the future. It rings pretty much constantly and if he is on it when Big Momma hits it gets jettisoned. !00 per cent of the time yesterday it ended up in the boat. However, a few times he had to look for it. When the pole bent over the phone went flying. Well, except that time the caller was serious about that Ranger. LOL Only problem I see is now getting back in my little rig after being in one done right.

Have to be a heck of a deal. For the 30 thou difference I will have to struggle along out of mine. Unless I hit the lottery.
