Anyone fished Reed Bingham for crappie? Had a guy here telling me they caught some nice ones early in the year there. Thought I might give it a shot.

Yes there are some decent crappie up the river.
probably scattered or in deeper water .they for the most part have spawned out .
Going to try to troll some during the week just to see what happens. Never have trolled there. Went there couple of months ago just to ride and graph-out the channel (what little there is) and the lake. Grew-up in Adel many many years ago. Dad and I just use to fish for Redbreast back in the day. Back than, we never heard of trolling for crappie!Quote:
