And I fished 11 of them. I stayed at Crappiejoe12's cabin at LOZ 3mm all by my lonesome the 10th thru the 14th with a mix of crappie and bass fishing. About once a year I like to take a hiatus by myself, always been a maverick like that. Bass fishing was not to great but I did land a few nice fish. The only consistent crappie bite I found was trolling cranks through shad in the back of Indian Creek which produced some real nice slabs. I also got a bonus blue cat and some good white bass. There were not very many fish on the bank. Went back to LOZ the 18th and 19th to catch up with Crappiejoe12. Crappie fishing was fairly tough but we did manage to put some in the live well. I caught all the short bass I wanted with Trick Worms but could not get any bigger fish. I mixed in three outings at Binder Lake and caught a plethora of small bass on a weightless stick bait wacky style. Nice thing about taking two weeks off is I did not have to shave or cut my hair...good times!
