Good 'un from KY Lake

Roy49 caught this one on a roadrunner behind a planer board on KY Lake Tuesday. We were longlining for crappie when it hit and we thought it was everything from a big catfish to a hybrid by the battle it put up. We took pics and released him back to spawn even though they are still a bit away. I didn't weigh it but I'd bet good $$ ir was 2 pounds. It was over 12 " long and very thick.

That's a jim dandy!! I'm gearing up to chase them...best looking fish swimming in these two big lakes is that male redear IMO.

That is a nice one! I've caught some nice redear at KY Lake but not in that class.
