Reelfoot Thurs-Sun
Headed to the foot for the first time this week. Meeting my father, cousin, and uncle there and we are staying at BlueBank Resort. We are hoping to make this an annual thing. I've been studying maps and have read past years reports. Can anyone recommend general areas of the lake we should start this week? I'm not looking for your honey hole just a general starting point in hopes of eliminating unproductive areas of the lake. We are prepared to drive to other areas to launch if those areas are producing better than the areas close to BlueBank.
We primarily want to jig fish or flip w bobber to structure but I have the setup to spider rig as well. I realize weather will be an issue this week, but it is booked and we are just going to deal with it.
Thanks everyone!

Will be there Wed afternoon through Sat. Been going 26 years now. Always a good time. Be safe. Fishing should be good

They weren't in the trees at Eagles Nest last Thursday or Friday but I caught 10 in a couple of hours spider rigging out from Rat Island in 5-6' fow. I've heard that some are catching good ones in the lily pads up north. The folks at Blue Bank might point you in the right direction. Good luck on the weather!

Thanks guys! We were considering launching out of kirby pocket and fishing that area as well as the upper blue basin out of grays or air park access. Any other recommendations or things we should know about the North parts of the lake?
