My favorite uncle

Hey guys, maybe someone posted this and I missed it, but I noticed Uncle Remus had not posted much lately so I touched base with him last night. He has been dealing with some pretty severe back pain and is undergoing several exams to determine best treatment. He is hoping surgery is not required but that is yet to be determined.
He is meeting with his surgeon this week to see where they go from here.
So when you speak to the Lord, please include a prayer for our dear friend Robert.

Prayers for him Im dealing with it also and Ive done had back surgery 2 yrs ago last Feb and the only thing it helped was pain shooting down my legs .I dont hurt unless im on my feet and the longer im on them the more I hurt so I just had an MRI done and got back into Pain Management and the 20th I go for for nerve blocks so hope it helps

Hope they can find a way to relieve your pain Uncle Remus. No one can understand the pain until they go through it every day and it never ends. Prayers are with you.

I told him to join me on a fishing trip and we both can stager around and maybe get better. He said, if I fell he couldn't pick my big butt up and would fall in the water again and the water is not warm enough yet. I certainly hope he gets better soon. Praying for his health all the time. I miss my fishing partner, I ain't got no one to throw fish at me like he does! Get well soon Uncle Remus! :pray

Back pain is nothing to laugh about, hope he gets better soon

Yes that week I came down couple weeks ago. We was going to get together for a fishing trip and he said his back was giving him too much trouble.

thanks for your prayers fellers and sorry I have not been keeping you informed on what is going on with me. I was going to start a new thread but computer still wont let me so I thought maybe it will let me write on Rays post. hope it comes through. first "Sweetie" came down with something and I was busy trying not to catch what ever she had so she got better and my back went south big time (you right Stumpy) you cant imagine that pain until you have it. its never ending == if your awake you hurting. this is heading in to its 6th week and drs. don't care how bad you hurt . and today they told me they would operate on it may 1st. 18 more days and how ever long it takes to recover. happy fishing to you all... will try to keep you up with what's going on when I can sit still long enough to post on hear thanks again for your prayers. I hope the doctors get you up and running Remus. There's a lot of fish out there that need to be caught!
